These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Astro Dienst application (the "Service").
The Service is developed and operated by Stepan Soroka, an independent developer ("the Developer", "we", "us"). By downloading or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. By using it you confirm you meet that requirement and have the capacity to enter a binding agreement.
Astro Dienst is a party game for groups. Each player enters their date, time and place of birth; the Service calculates a natal chart for each player and generates short anonymous descriptions ("stories") derived from that chart. The group reads the stories aloud and guesses which player each one describes. After the game, an AI astrologer feature allows discussion of a player's chart.
Astro Dienst contains no subscriptions, no in-app purchases and no paid features. We do not collect payment information of any kind. We may introduce paid features in future, in which case these Terms will be updated and the change notified before it takes effect.
The Service is designed to be used by a group, which means you may enter birth details for people other than yourself. You are responsible for that. Specifically, you agree that:
Details you enter for other players are stored on your own device. See our Privacy Policy for how this is handled.
Stories and astrologer responses are produced by an artificial intelligence system working from calculated chart data. They are generated automatically and are not reviewed by a person before you see them. They are interpretive, may be inaccurate, and are not assertions of fact about any individual. We do not guarantee that generated content will be suitable, accurate, or agreeable to the person it describes.
If generated content is offensive or inappropriate, please tell us at info@astro.app so we can improve the system.

We apply reasonable usage limits to prevent abuse. If you reach a limit, access is restored automatically.
The Service and its contents — including text, graphics, icons, software and design — are the intellectual property of the Developer and his licensors. You are granted a personal, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the Service for lawful personal and social use. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works from it. All rights not expressly granted remain with the Developer.
The Service relies on third-party providers, including AI model providers, astronomical calculation services, geographic lookup services and cloud hosting. Your use of the Service is subject to their terms where applicable. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy or practices of third-party providers. These are listed in our Privacy Policy.
We may add, change, suspend or remove features at any time. We may also suspend or discontinue the Service entirely. Because the Service stores your data on your device rather than on our servers, discontinuation does not delete the data already on your device.
You may stop using the Service at any time by deleting the app, which removes the data stored on your device. We may restrict or terminate access if you breach these Terms, misuse the Service, or cause harm to us or others.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, accuracy or performance. Astrological content and AI-generated stories are interpretive by nature; we make no representation as to their accuracy, completeness or suitability for any purpose, and we are not responsible for any decision made, or any reaction caused, in reliance on them.
We implement reasonable measures to protect data, but no system is entirely secure. Use the Service at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or distress arising from generated content.
Because the Service is provided free of charge, our total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed €50, unless a higher amount is required by mandatory law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Developer from any claims, damages or liabilities arising from your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, your entry of another person's information without their agreement, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence apply. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified in the app or on this page at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, stop using the Service.
